About the Position:

The role of a Deployment Area Coordinator entails overseeing and coordinating the Deployment area, leading a team to ensure timely completion of tasks, maintaining quality standards, and fostering collaborative working relationships with colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Line management responsibilities for Team Members
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Deployment team
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Department Manager
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills
  • Utilize excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Maintain strong communication skills
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure key objectives are met
  • Support Team Members to meet delivery targets within the Deployment area
  • Ability to respond promptly and effectively to changes in a proactive manner
  • Identify shortfalls in internal processes. Utilize the escalation chain for any procedural risks to the department and delivery numbers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports to highlight peaks and troughs in areas and submit to the Department Manager for review
  • Demonstrate ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team that provides guidance and direction
  • Daily/weekly audits of team performance and collate data based on findings
  • Support the Deployment team and provide feedback on any issues affecting team performance to the Department Manager
  • Assist with weekly/monthly stock counts and collate data based on findings
  • Respond to inquiries via email
  • Develop strong working relationships within the team
  • Foster relationships within the Logistics department
  • Support the Department Manager in identifying inefficiencies and help develop new processes if required
  • Maintain general housekeeping processes to ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Assist in unloading and checking kit from departing team members; ensuring procedures are followed with items being returned to stock or utilized for preparing full kits
  • Assist with loading vans for Deployment
  • Utilize the company's resource planner to schedule and prioritize workload
  • Assist with stock transfers between all sites
