We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators for rail maintenance and construction projects in Western Australia.

About the Role

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating Hi-Rail Excavators on major rail projects and Tier 1 rail networks. You will work in a high safety critical environment and must have a good attitude towards safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Hi-Rail Excavators on rail maintenance and construction projects
  • Conduct labouring side of rail maintenance and construction works as required
  • Meet safety standards and protocols
Requirements
  • Cert II Rail Infrastructure or equivalent qualification
  • Excavator Ticket
  • Operate Road/Rail vehicle (TLIC3045) or equivalent
  • Experience with Hi-Rail Attachments - Rail Threader, Undercutter, Tamper Heads, Jibs, Bucket, Octopus, and Platypus
  • Experience operating Hitachi and Liebherr Hi-Rail Excavators
  • Construction card
  • Full HR Class Driving Licence or higher with no restrictions
  • Able to pass Rail Category 1 medical and ongoing D&A screens

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on experience and location.
