This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced diesel mechanic to take on a key role in our workshop. As a truck technician specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a range of heavy vehicles, including SCANIA, MAN, and Volvo trucks.

You will be working as part of a dynamic team, using your technical skills and expertise to diagnose faults, plan repairs, and implement preventative maintenance measures. Your attention to detail and ability to work autonomously will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service heavy vehicles, including SCANIA, MAN, and Volvo trucks
  • Diagnose faults and plan necessary repairs
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures to reduce downtime
  • Schedule routine services and maintain accurate service records
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification as a Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent tertiary education
  • Basic MIG welding experience (preferably)
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations
  • Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
What We Offer:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
