The Defence Security Governance Manager will be responsible for delivering security services that ensure ongoing compliance with the Commonwealth, Defence Framework, Australian Government security frameworks and program specific requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver security services that ensure ongoing compliance with the Commonwealth, Defence Framework, Australian Government security frameworks and program specific requirements.
Work closely with site Security Officers to support Governance and Assurance responsibilities, including:
Managing the NGA Security Assurance Calendar to ensure DISP compliance
Preparing Protective Security policies, processes, and work instructions
Establishing and maturing reporting on Security within NGA, to NGC, the Australian Department of Defence as required by Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership
Highlighting deficiencies in Security Registers and providing training to improve compliance
About You
You will have a deep understanding of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP), with expertise in compliance management and monitoring.
A proven track record of operating within complex policy-driven environments is essential, as well as strong ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships.
You must possess discretion, exercise strict confidentiality and deal with ambiguity and complexity within the organisation.
A Certificate IV in Security Operations/Government Security/Security Risk Management (or equivalent) is required.
