We are seeking expressions of interest from high-level problem solvers and change-makers for opportunities across Australia in the Defence and Security space.
About the Role
In this role, you will work alongside other defence and contractor personnel as part of a team. Your responsibilities and prior experience may cover some of the following areas:
* Working within a Defence Regulated Engineering environment to create and/or review Engineering Artefacts such as Engineering Management Plans, Test and Evaluation Plans, and System Certification documentation.
* Management of aircraft and unmanned aviation systems IAW Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.
* Facilitate the preparation of Maritime Armaments Review Board (MARB) documentation.
* Manage and co-ordinate technical and project outcomes.
* Developing requirements and specifications for new and proposed Defence systems.
* Test and Evaluation of Defence Systems.
* Certification of Defence Systems, processes & artefacts.
* Providing engineering recommendations and advice for briefs and presentations on Defence Systems.
* Application of 'System Safety' standards and practices.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management (Sponsors & Stakeholders).
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* An engineering degree or technical/trades background with at least eight years of experience
* Australian Defence Force or Australian Public Service experience
* A current or reinstatable ASGVA clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance
