Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman to manage medium to large Commercial/Mixed Use projects in Sydney.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality finishes and managing sub-contractors effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct site inductions for staff and sub-contractors ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Manage sub-contractor performance daily, monitoring safety, quality, and programme adherence; report deficiencies to the Site Manager.
  • Assist the Site Manager with project commissioning and handover by completing all relevant documentation.
  • Maintain cost control over designated project aspects as directed by the Site Manager to meet budget targets.
  • Develop positive relationships with authorities and unions, resolving issues according to client guidelines.
Requirements
  • Trade background with demonstrable experience as a finishes or general foreman.
  • Proven experience managing a team including sub-contractors in a professional manner.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements.
