Improving health and wellbeing in Indigenous communities is a complex challenge. This role plays a key part in proactive, culturally responsive public health initiatives.
The Public Health Program focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal communities through comprehensive sex education, disease prevention, and treatment programs.
This role will involve working closely with local schools and healthcare services to provide clinical care and support to patients.
Key skills required include an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal community control, cultural identity, practices, and beliefs.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in delivering nursing care and services within a primary healthcare setting.
