We're seeking a dependable and team-oriented individual to join our retail cafe team at A&J King Artisan Bakers. As a customer-focused sales associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and building lasting relationships with our community.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service and strive to create a welcoming environment for all our customers. If you're a friendly and polite individual who enjoys engaging with the public, we'd love to hear from you.
As a member of our retail cafe team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Operating a cash register and processing transactions accurately.
- Taking customer orders and handling customer inquiries.
- Packing and preparing pastries and bread for sale.
- Making coffee and other beverages.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Upholding local health and safety standards for food service.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18, which includes our Admin Wage program. Additionally, you will be eligible for employee benefits, including flexible scheduling, sick time, and a 401k plan.
Requirements:
- Be friendly and polite in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Be available to work both weekend days.
- Be able to lift 30-40lbs.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to work quickly and accurately when needed.
- Be able to work and communicate in a team environment.
- Be able to rise early.
- Be able to regularly work between the hours of 6am-4pm.
