We are seeking a commercially astute financial professional to join our high-performing organisation in the entertainment and hospitality sector.

About the Opportunity:

This is a full-time permanent role, based in Brisbane's CBD, offering the chance to contribute at a strategic level within a large, ASX-listed business.

  • Deliver general accounting services, ensuring timely month-end close, high-quality reporting, audit preparedness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support a high-performing team, driving a culture of collaboration, and implementing process enhancements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, GL integrity, reconciliations, and P&L review.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, including management reports, balance sheets, and analysis.
  • Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with ASX and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Support the development of accounting policies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and manage a team of qualified accountants and finance professionals.
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior financial accounting or financial controller role.
  • Demonstrated experience in ASX-listed environments.
  • Strong ERP system knowledge (Oracle or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven leadership ability, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen.
