This role requires identifying and connecting with new renewable energy vendors by crafting engaging outreach strategies tailored to their unique needs. You will also guide new vendor partners through onboarding and activation, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way as they join the organisation's finance ecosystem.
Nurturing existing vendor relationships by rolling out targeted growth plans that position the company as Australia's go-to provider for renewable energy finance is also a key responsibility.
You will take charge of sales performance in your region by tracking deal flow, maximising portfolio utilisation, and boosting origination growth using insightful data analysis.
Keep a close eye on competitors, market trends, and policy shifts so you can share valuable feedback that keeps products ahead of the curve.
Work hand-in-hand with relationship managers to enhance vendor engagement, retention rates, and account performance through collaborative reviews and planning sessions.
Lead structured sales activities such as impactful vendor meetings, thorough account reviews, and detailed growth plan execution for each partner.
Communicate the standout benefits of the company's products and services to vendors—helping them see how these solutions can transform their businesses.
Share insights from your day-to-day experiences to help drive continuous improvements in customer experience and operational excellence within the renewables finance division.
To flourish in this role, you will bring hands-on experience from similar roles where your people skills helped forge lasting bonds with clients or partners.
Your background should show how well you perform under pressure while keeping an eagle eye on details across complex portfolios.
A solid grasp of commercial drivers within financial services or related sectors will help you uncover mutually rewarding opportunities.

- You have at least three years' experience thriving in a lively sales environment where you consistently surpassed targets through outstanding relationship-building skills.
- You have a proven record of achievement in business development roles focused on portfolio management and steady revenue expansion.
- You possess sharp commercial instincts paired with strong financial understanding that empower you to spot win-win opportunities for clients and the business alike.
- You are skilled in anticipating concerns during negotiations and resolving them positively to ensure everyone walks away satisfied.
- You genuinely enjoy championing brands devoted to sustainability and renewable energy solutions within competitive markets.
- You possess superb time management abilities combined with organisational skills that let you handle multiple priorities smoothly without missing a beat.
