Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Competition Expertise Lawyer to join our Sydney office. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented lawyer to leverage their expertise in competition and consumer law to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies that align with the practice's and the firm's goals, focusing on key areas such as expertise planning, technical advice, and training materials.
  • Technical Advice and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to lawyers at all levels, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Market Developments and Reporting: Stay up-to-date with the latest legal and market developments, analyzing their impact on the business and reporting findings to the team.
  • Training and Development: Create engaging and relevant training materials that meet the needs of learners, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Australian Legal Qualifications: Possess recognized Australian legal qualifications and experience working in the field of competition and consumer law.
  • Experience and Skills: Bring a range of experience across various competition and consumer law work-types, including multi-jurisdictional merger filing matters and merger filing thresholds analysis.
  • Writing and Communication: Have excellent writing and communication skills, enabling the creation of high-quality publications and presentations that effectively convey complex information.
  • Culture and Teamwork: Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and open communication, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
