About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Professional to join our team at Questas Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer to utilize their expertise in providing day-to-day assistance with legal matters across our group of companies.

The role reports to the General Counsel and encompasses a range of legal matters, including:

  • Supporting Mergers and Acquisitions by conducting legal due diligence and reviewing contracts.
  • Reviewing and Preparing Contracts for customers and suppliers, as well as departures schedules.
  • Maintaining Corporate Governance by ensuring timely scheduling, recording, and minuting of Board, BARC, Remuneration, and Nomination meetings.
  • Protecting Intellectual Property by renewing trademarks, business names, and patents.
  • Providing Proactive Legal Assistance to meet business requirements.
  • Assisting in Litigation Matters as required, utilizing external legal advice when necessary.

About You

  • You have experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Contracts, and Corporate Law.
  • You are a qualified Lawyer admitted (or on your way towards) to practice law in Australia.
  • You are Commercially Astute and able to generate creative options and think ahead to anticipate potential problems.
  • You have Attention to Detail and are able to triage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • You are able to Work Collaboratively and as part of a team.
  • You demonstrate Personal Accountability for performance.
