Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in the Human Resources field. As a dedicated People and Culture Manager, you will support the implementation and coordination of Workplace Health and Safety compliance, promote wellbeing, and facilitate the functions of a small Human Resources team.

  • Provide advice, guidance, education, and coaching to all employees on best practice Human Resource Management (HRM) according to relevant policies, Enterprise Agreements, and legislation.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus by identifying and escalating complex enquiries as appropriate, ensuring prompt responses to customer enquiries, and effective resolution of matters.
  • Identify and contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with onboarding and employee life cycle functions.
  • Ensure that all teams provide quality service in line with their roles and legislation.
  • Ensure the organisation's compliance with Industrial Relations legislation and Awards.
  • Administer people, culture, and human resources communications.
  • Support the wellbeing and safety of staff members under challenging circumstances.
  • Facilitate the review and updating of people and culture documentation.
  • Coordinate wellness, employee engagement, and culture-building events and programs.
  • Maintain employee records and associated reporting functions.
  • Provide assistance to employees with people, culture, and safety queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership skills, motivating, teaching, and inspiring team members.
  • Sound level of skill in providing specialist advice, support, and awareness on P&C matters such as employment law, industrial relations, Enterprise Agreements, and legislation.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work unsupervised and time/task orientated, working well in a dynamic team environment.
  • Energy/Passion - Displays the necessary behaviours of a positive team member, always challenging themselves, others within the team, and the wider business to find ways to improve.
