About the Property Asset Management Role

We are seeking an experienced property professional to contribute to high-performance asset management by driving key initiatives.

As a Property Asset Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing profit and loss, budgeting, and reporting responsibilities of assigned building portfolios. You will also manage City/Tenant relationships, develop management briefings on complex building issues, and oversee lease agreements, renewals, and negotiations.

This role requires strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control strategies. You must have a proven track record in managing financial performance of property portfolios and experience in property management software to ensure accurate and compliant records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage profit and loss, budgeting, and reporting responsibilities of assigned building portfolios.
  • Manage City/Tenant relationships within assigned building portfolios.
  • Develop and deliver management briefings on complex building issues.
  • Oversight of lease agreements, renewals, and negotiations.
  • Manage facility management providers to ensure maintenance of assigned building portfolios meets all safety and compliance standards.
  • Develop data-driven management reports to drive better decision-making and ensure Property Management Information System is utilised as main source of truth for lease and maintenance-related aspects.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property and/or Facility Management or significant experience in managing Building assets at a management level with extensive knowledge and experience managing diverse portfolios of properties.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control strategies, and a proven track record in managing financial performance of property portfolios.
  • Ability to maintain data integrity and manage property information systems, with experience in property management software to ensure accurate and compliant records.
