**Job Opportunity:** Regional Clinical Pharmacist

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced pharmacist who wants to make a difference in patient care. As a Regional Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for promoting safe and effective drug therapy throughout the region. Your key responsibilities will include medication reconciliation, monitoring patient medication profiles, dispensing medications, providing drug information to healthcare staff, and making independent decisions on therapeutic strategies to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible care
  • Monitor and reconcile patient medication profiles to identify potential issues and take corrective action
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Provide expert advice to nursing and medical staff on drug-related matters, helping them to make informed decisions
  • Develop and implement therapeutic strategies to improve patient outcomes, working closely with other healthcare professionals
Work Environment

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) provides health services to approximately half a million people across rural and remote Western Australia.
