Health Promotion Specialist

This role is focused on delivering and evaluating health promotion activities to support key priority areas. You will engage with local stakeholders and the community to develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives.
The position involves analyzing population health trends and emerging needs using statistical data analysis, research, and consultation. This includes planning, coordinating, and implementing primary prevention strategies across a designated catchment area.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and evaluate health promotion initiatives in partnership with local communities.
- Analyze population health trends and emerging needs using data analysis and research.
- Plan and implement primary prevention strategies, leading projects and delivering education in health promotion.
- Tertiary qualification in health promotion, public health, or a related field.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating primary prevention strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects and delivering education in health promotion.
- Understanding of place-based principles for primary prevention.
- Possibility to work with diverse populations.
