Health Promotion Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Health Promotion Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion activities across our catchment.
The Health Promotion Specialist will be responsible for identifying population health trends and emerging health needs using statistical data analysis, research, and consultation. They will develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate health promotion initiatives through a holistic approach to maintaining and improving health and preventing illness.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for health promotion to make a real difference in their community. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health promotion principles and practices, as well as experience in leading projects and delivering education in health promotion.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in health promotion, public health, community development, or a related field, and demonstrated skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating primary prevention strategies.
As a Health Promotion Specialist, you will work closely with a broad range of individuals and organisations to develop collaborative relationships. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing health promotion activities that meet the needs of our community.
