About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team at the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program in Nowra, NSW. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and modification tasks on EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, servicing, repair, and fault diagnosis of components and systems operating in both line maintenance and base maintenance environments.
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet team, business unit, and organisational goals.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification.
  • Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraft.
  • Ability to successfully interact with co-workers and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Flexibility with working hours and locations.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirements.
