About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures Specialist to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting sheet metal and composite repairs on the EC135 aircraft and its associated components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sheet metal and composite repairs on the EC135 aircraft and its associated components
  • Work alongside other aviation maintenance trades in a diverse range of tasking, including operational, line maintenance, and base maintenance environments
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with co-workers to achieve team, business unit, and organizational goals
  • Be an Australian citizen in order to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirements
  • Be willing to reside in the Nowra area
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)
  • Have previous experience as a maintenance quality inspector or supervisor in an aircraft maintenance environment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures
  • Possess a DASA B MAML qualification
  • Have previous experience working on rotary wing aircraft
