Job Overview

A dynamic and challenging role has become available for a motivated Site Supervisor to join our Project Delivery team in Melbourne. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position (with the possibility to extend) responsible for coordinating installation, commissioning and engineering activities on large-scale warehouse automation projects.

The successful candidate will ensure that building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production meeting client specifications within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner.

We Are Looking For
  • An experienced Site Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years experience in installing large capital projects.
  • A strong background in electrical trade would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Technical knowledge of material handling equipment would also be beneficial.

Candidates should have thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements, excellent communication skills and proven team leadership abilities. Strong computer skills in MS office products are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
  • Liaising with clients, direct builders and sub-contractors.
  • Proactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • Obtaining necessary materials and resources.
  • Organising and supervising the inspection and maintenance of installed equipment.
  • Day to day management of sub-contractors.
  • Coordinating regular inspections of works for quality assurance.
  • Implementing commissioning.
  • Ensuring safe installation procedures.
