Job Title: Automation Specialist

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a cutting-edge project at our Melbourne site.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is eager to learn quickly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of automated equipment, including high-speed conveyors, auto-palletisation and de-palletisation systems, and automatic guided vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to operational issues and resolve system faults in a timely manner.
  • Exchange and replenish consumables as required.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor equipment performance and provide guidance to client staff on optimal machine operation.
  • Clear blockages and perform routine maintenance tasks, such as fixing pneumatic leaks and replacing filters.

Requirements:

  • A mechanical or electrical aptitude and basic problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are necessary.
  • Warehouse experience and a current forklift license are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Physical fitness is required for this role.
  • Candidates must be either Australian or New Zealand citizens, or have Australian Permanent Residency with unrestricted work rights.
