About this role

We are seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist to join our practice in Ballarat. This key team member will provide high-quality customer service to all patients, managing the front desk reception and supporting healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and welcoming them into the Centre.
  • Collecting and entering patient details into the database.
  • Scheduling appointments when required.
  • Answering telephone calls and enquiries.
  • Providing administration support and other ad hoc duties.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with previous experience an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills including a professional telephone manner.
  • Detail-orientation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Knowledge of Pracsoft/Medtech is an advantage.
  • Ability to work as part of a multifaceted team and independently.
  • Neat and professional presentation.
