Community Support Specialist

 

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill this role, as it presents an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly individuals and people with disabilities within our community.

 

Home care assistance provides exceptional support that enables older adults to live happier, healthier lives at home. We offer permanent part-time positions, supporting clients across the aged and disability sectors from various locations.

 

As a Community Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
  • Ensuring the safety of clients during service and supporting their needs.
  • Providing companionship, emotional, and social support.
  • Providing transport services.
  • Respite care.

Requirements for the position:

  • A qualification in aged care or disability support (preferred but not compulsory).
  • A reliable smartphone with data (compulsory).
  • A current Australian driver's license (compulsory).
  • Comprehensive car insurance (compulsory).
  • A current First Aid/CPR certification (compulsory).
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Check (National Police Certificate) as part of the employment process.
