Market Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Market Development Manager to cover the Charlotte Metro and Upstate South Carolina markets.
This individual will be responsible for providing sales, marketing, and general business support to drive growth in their territory along with prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive business plan to achieve annual sales targets established by management; analyze competitors' activities in the market.
- Create weekly and monthly reports on assigned sales activity using Salesforce CRM.
- Promote and develop awareness of Carlisle Construction Materials' product line among existing contractors and distribution networks in the specified area.
- Collaborate with distribution partners to present products to contractors, owners, and specifiers.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques, including utilizing Salesforce for daily pipeline management.
- Stay informed about sources and methods of obtaining information regarding sales activity in the specified area; possess proficiency in Salesforce.com.
- Effectively communicate with contractors, owners, and specifiers.
- Exhibit strong formal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
- Mid-senior level experience in sales and business development.
- Knowledge of wholesale building materials industry.
