Job Description

As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in driving efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR processes across the business. You will work closely with the HR Operations Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and support continuous improvement.

This is a broad, generalist HR position with a strong focus on compliance, onboarding, and operational support. You will work across the full employee lifecycle—recruitment, contracts, onboarding, benefits, reporting, and workers compensation—keeping operations running smoothly while supporting improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment and pre-employment compliance processes
  • Prepare and issue employment documentation, including contracts and promotion letters
  • Lead onboarding activities and manage employee benefit programs
  • Provide HR advice to managers aligned to policy and legislation
  • Maintain and improve HR systems, documentation, and reporting
  • Manage workers compensation cases in collaboration with the HR team
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Generalist role
  • Strong understanding of employment law, award interpretation, WHS, and compliance
  • Ability to support frontline leaders and navigate fast-moving operational environments
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and collaborative approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
