Position Overview
We are in search of a Program Manager with a minimum NV2 security clearance to play a pivotal role in outlining, documenting, and executing various projects or sub-projects aimed at fulfilling business goals. This position involves working independently or alongside a small team, actively engaging in all stages of the project lifecycle. To excel in this role, candidates must possess robust project management capabilities, effective communication skills, and a dedication to delivering projects within established timelines and budgets, all while assisting clients in enhancing their security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Technical Project Manager will be tasked with delivering ICT/construction projects, whether domestically or internationally. In addition to the duties of four Technical Project Managers, this role includes On The Job (OTJ) training to equip and mentor other Technical Project Managers. This will necessitate additional travel for training purposes and acting as the resource manager for all Technical Project Managers, reporting directly to the Senior Technical PM.
- Daily tasks will involve utilizing tools and interpreting technical drawings, which may include understanding and annotating technical layouts such as rack configurations, copper and fiber cable pathways, and building services schematics. Other valuable attributes include a solid project management background and/or technical expertise in network/server/data cabling or related trades (such as construction, electrical, or data cabling), along with excellent stakeholder management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Prince II (waterfall) or Agile methodologies is preferred, as is an understanding of government projects. Additional experience in technical projects or a background in server/network/data cabling/data centers is highly advantageous. Experience in government, infrastructure, or ICT projects, or trades is also significantly beneficial.
