About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Planning Content Expert to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As an integral part of our Content Development team, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing estate planning-related content for our core LEAP Legal Practice Management offering.

Reporting to the Director of Content Development, you will assist in ensuring that all content is accurate, compliant, and user-friendly. This includes working closely with our Forms Designer Team and Database Design Team to ensure that all product-related content (forms, templates, instructions) is legally sound and clear.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing estate planning content, including wills, trusts, and estate administration tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop state-specific or country-specific content within the product.
  • Analysing user feedback and legal inquiries related to product content and incorporating insights to improve accuracy and usability.
  • Developing comprehensive legal research on wills, estates, and probate laws, including interpreting and applying legislative changes.
  • Crafting clear, precise, and legally sound product content, documentation, and user instructions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions related to estate planning and/or estate administration. A minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience as an estates lawyer is essential, with specialisation in one Australian jurisdiction and the ability to research and learn other jurisdictions.

You will also have expertise in conducting comprehensive legal research, excellent legal writing skills, and familiarity with legal technology and digital platforms that offer estate planning or estate administration services.
