Quality Assurance Manager

Description:

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our furniture manufacturing and retail operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving excellence and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and techniques. They will have experience developing and implementing robust quality control procedures, conducting thorough inspections, and leading teams of quality assurance professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing comprehensive quality control procedures and standards for all stages of furniture manufacturing and retail operations.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from quality standards.
  • Leading a team of quality assurance inspectors, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective execution of quality control procedures.
  • Collaborating with production teams, suppliers, and vendors to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement in product quality.
  • Monitoring and evaluating customer feedback, warranty claims, and returns to identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements governing furniture manufacturing and retail operations.
  • Preparing reports and documentation of quality control findings, trends, and corrective actions for management review.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to support new product development, process improvement initiatives, and quality-related projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, preferably in the furniture manufacturing or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
