Quality Manager Job Description

Overview:

The Quality Manager is a critical role in ensuring that all quality assurance processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a vital part in maintaining product excellence through effective quality control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to maintain product excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize work flows.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance across manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports for management review.
  • Provide training to staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in quality assurance within a fast-paced FMCG industry, a Bachelor of Food Science/Technology (or related field), experience in Engineering & Manufacturing processes and systems, excellent knowledge of relevant high-risk regulatory and compliance standards, proficiency in analyzing data and creating detailed quality reports, strong leadership skills to guide and train team members effectively, excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, and effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
