- The Opportunity
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Product Specialist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific. Reporting to the Senior Business Development & Parts Operations Manager, the Product Specialist within our Vans business is responsible for the development and delivery support for genuine accessories and approved products and supplier fitted options, monitoring solutions and providing cross-functional involvement on Body Build requirements.
- Key responsibilities- Manage database of required accessories and fitment times, including pricing and identifying code designations
- Develop ordering guides to ensure proper accessory selection and fitment
- Develop business cases, with an understanding of technical, engineering and body build requirements
- Undertake supplier offer and pricing process for selected suppliers
- Project management involvement on key business projects, including that of supplier relationships to deliver required outcomes, vehicle connectivity, general body build support and general retailer and customer services support
- Monitor stock levels and stock requirements and develop key KPI reporting systems to monitor performance

**Qualifikationen**:

- What we are looking for- Experience in the automotive industry highly advantageous, particularly that of technical and engineering diciplines
- High level attention to detail and a innovative and logical approach to problem solving
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to represent our brand at with professionalism and credibility and confidently present in front of groups
- Intermediate MS Excel skills, along with solid knowledge and experience with SAP
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline would be highly advantageous
