The Senior Agile Project Manager will provide strategic direction and leadership for projects, aligning them with the business objectives.
This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive project planning, identifying key milestones, and defining a detailed integrated project plan.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and leadership for projects.
- Align projects with business goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough project planning and identify key milestones.
- Define an appropriately detailed integrated project plan for cost, time, and quality management.
- Manage dependencies of the project with other ongoing initiatives.
- Monitor progress and evaluate performance against set targets.
- Identify variances in project progress and take corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
- Assure proper coordination of all line and staff elements to guarantee project success.
- Assess and report project status to senior management on a regular basis.
- Manage project risks according to PMP guidelines and industry best practices.
- Ensure effective knowledge dissemination among team members to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Accountable for achieving project objectives as defined in the Project Management Plan.
- Regularly review project status and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Perform Delivery Completion Review at the end of the project to ensure closure and documentation of lessons learned.
- Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience leading and managing complex projects.
- Prince2, PMBoK, Agile or other recognized Project Management certification.
- High degree of stakeholder management experience and executive level reporting skills.
- Knowledge and use of Agile delivery methods and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
