Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer to develop customized proposals for industrial automation services. As a key member of the proposal team, you will be responsible for creating detailed proposals that meet customer needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of proposal activities including technical assessment, risk identification and mitigation, proposal generation, approvals, and order entry.
  • Ensuring proposals meet defined margin and compliance requirements.
  • Delivering accurate, professional proposals within expected timeframes.

You will work closely with Sales, Solution Consultants, Engineering, Field Services, Operations, Commercial & Negotiation (C&N), Finance, and Credit Management teams to provide high-quality proposals.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a network-related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in proposal/project engineering within industrial automation.
  • Technical knowledge of automation technologies (PLCs, DCS, drives).
  • Understanding of cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin analysis is critical.

Additional skills and qualifications include command on contract terms & conditions, collaborative mindset, fluency in English (written and spoken), adaptable communication style, and comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
