About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer to lead the development of detailed, customised proposals for industrial automation solutions.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate proposals that meet defined margin and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of automation technologies, including PLCs, DCS, and drives, as well as experience in proposal/project engineering within industrial automation.

The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring proposals align with margin targets, compliance standards, and internal processes. They will also support business growth and strategic projects, working closely with Sales, Solution Consultants, Engineering, Field Services, Operations, Commercial & Negotiation (C&N), Finance, and Credit Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of detailed, customised proposals for industrial automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate proposals that meet defined margin and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure proposals align with margin targets, compliance standards, and internal processes.
  • Support business growth and strategic projects.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality proposals.

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a network-related field.
  • You have minimum 8 years of experience in proposal/project engineering within industrial automation.
  • You possess technical knowledge of automation technologies, including PLCs, DCS, and drives.
  • You have understanding of cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin analysis.
