For a more sustainable future, we're seeking a skilled Geotechnical Professional to join our mission.

About the Role

This position is located in Sydney, with occasional site visits. Once the project is operational, it will transition to a 14/7 roster-based arrangement out of the Central West Orana Region.

We are looking for a dedicated Geotechnical Expert to support our Engineering Department in providing scheduling, quality assurance, and project management support on all Geotechnical related matters.

  • Support the Geotechnical Manager in managing the delivery of works of all Geotechnical activities
  • Support and supervise the Construction Department and Subcontractors in ensuring work carried out is compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in identifying any potential design issues and provide possible contingency solutions
  • Assist in the review of design modifications and provide technical advice
  • Assist the Geotechnical and Design Manager in providing required data for periodic internal reports
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology or Engineering Geology
  • At least 3 years' experience in Transmission Line infrastructure projects or similar large construction projects
  • Experience in tier 1 contractor environment
  • Understanding of Construction techniques and methodologies
  • Ability to manage effective relationships with stakeholders
