Marketing Associate Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our marketing initiatives forward.

As a Marketing Associate, your main responsibilities will include conducting market research, creating engaging content for social media platforms, drafting email communications and website content, and assisting with SEO optimization.

You will work closely with our marketing team to build strategies that amplify our mission, raise awareness, and foster connections within the youth-led movement for a brighter future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research to analyze trends, peer groups, current politics, policies, and consumer behaviors
  • Create high-quality content for various social media platforms
  • Draft and edit email communications, website content, and advertisements
  • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts
  • Report and monitor marketing performance metrics
  • Participate in idea generation sessions to enhance marketing strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A genuine passion for youth-led movements and social change
  • Experience or interest in marketing, communications, or social media
  • Familiarity with market research methods and tools
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Ability to write clear, engaging, and persuasive content
  • An interest in the key pillars of our organization: climate change, economic prosperity, education, health, and equity & inclusion
