Job Title: Transformation Project Manager

This exciting contract role is part of a dynamic transformation project in the utilities sector, focusing on change management and communications for a high-impact initiative. Located in Melbourne CBD, this opportunity drives stakeholder engagement, ensures successful adoption of new processes and systems in a regulated environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement change and engagement strategies, conduct impact assessments, and monitor adoption of new processes / systems.
  • Craft clear, compelling messages across platforms to address resistance, align stakeholders, and celebrate milestones.
  • Coach leaders, support change champions, and coordinate with HR, IT, and leadership teams to ensure alignment.
  • Track engagement impact, report progress, and adjust strategies based on data to drive adoption and morale.
  • Sustain initiatives aligned with organizational environmental and social goals, including net zero targets, and manage risks effectively.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, high-performance culture in line with the organization's Vision and Values.

About You:

  • 3-5 years' experience in change management and communications on major transformation, technology, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven skills in change impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, and delivering engagement strategies.
  • Experience in gas / energy utilities or regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Formal qualifications or certification in a recognised change management methodology.
  • Strong understanding of change processes and exceptional communication skills.

  • Internal: Project Sponsors, Integration Team, Business Stakeholders, HR, and Communications Teams.
  • External: Outsourced service partners and professional services providers as required.
