About the Role

As a Senior Energy Consultant at Intrax, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve energy efficiency and sustainability in their residential building designs. Your expertise will be essential in conducting detailed energy assessments, thermal modeling, and compliance checks to ensure that our clients' projects meet the highest standards of energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough energy efficiency assessments and thermal modeling to identify opportunities for improvement in residential building designs.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions for our clients' projects, ensuring compliance with Australian building codes and energy efficiency regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, reports, and compliance documentation to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Analyze building plans and specifications to identify energy efficiency opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on energy performance, including recommendations for upgrades or modifications.
  • Train and develop the skills of junior assessors to ensure a high level of expertise within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster business growth and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in NatHERS assessment.
  • A sound understanding or background in building modeling, architecture, structural drafting, or engineering.
  • Qualified Energy Assessor with a valid accreditation from a recognized body (e.g. AAO).
  • Ability to complete NatHERS assessments in FR5 and Basix.
  • Proven experience in energy assessment and rating for residential buildings.
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
