About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Energy Sector Leader to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Energy sector team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our team, ensuring alignment with our global vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-level business development strategies to expand our client base, secure major projects, and enhance market presence.
  • Lead the development and execution of high-level business generation strategies, including pursuit planning, bidding, and key client program support.
  • Cultivate existing and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Oversee the delivery of projects aligned to client objectives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Mentor and develop senior team members, sharing sector insights, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Extensive (15+ years) experience working in the Energy sector, ideally in project development, with a proven track record in successfully delivering major projects and programs.
  • Preference for Australian experience with an established network within the Energy sector.
  • Proactive approach to business development via new and existing clients, including cross-selling opportunities, and leading pursuits and tenders.
  • Experience of working within both client and consultant environments an advantage.
  • Experience working with global accounts and a 'key client' partnering approach and supporting growth through such relationships.
