Industrial Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Job Description

The Industrial Project Manager will play a key role in supporting and managing a diverse portfolio of Mechanical Fabrication and Fitting related projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, staging, and working through each aspect of the project lifecycle.
  • Liaising with internal and external resources to develop customer requirement specifications, develop scope of work, engage in design review and hand over expectations/deliverables.
  • Developing technical specifications and tender to engage contractors to cover all pre-work, shut work, and commissioning tasks.
  • Ensuring project documentation is completed including drawings, manuals, data sheets, part lists, cataloguing, and punch lists are completed and received from project teams to maintenance teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A fabrication or mechanical fitting background in either a trade qualification, diploma, or degree.
  • An understanding or experience with interpreting structural fabrication drawings and welding processes.
  • An ability to influence peers and colleagues to meet operational requirements, scheduling, and people demands.
  • Experience in plant process, equipment problem-solving, and reliability improvement.
  • Exposure to the use of Document control and reporting processes.
