Job Opportunity

Join our team as a Mechanical Project Coordinator to support and manage diverse portfolios of mechanical fabrication and fitting related projects.

The Role:
  • Develop project scope, coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of Coke plant asset performance.
  • Plan, stage, work through each aspect of the project lifecycle to deliver results-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead site supervision and industrial project management in a similar environment to drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop customer requirement specifications, scope of work, engage in design review and hand over expectations/deliverables.
  • Ensure project documentation is completed, including drawings, manuals, data sheets, part lists, cataloguing and punch lists are completed and received from project teams to maintenance teams.
  • Support project handover by providing technical advice, commissioning and post-commissioning support.
  • Supervise maintenance and install activities, ensuring safety standards are never compromised.

Requirements:

  • Background in fabrication or mechanical fitting, with trade qualification, diploma or degree.
  • Understanding or experience interpreting structural fabrication drawings and welding processes.
  • Ability to influence peers and colleagues to meet operational requirements, scheduling and people demands.
  • Experience in plant process, equipment problem solving and reliability improvement.
  • Exposure to document control and reporting processes.
