Job Title:

Heavy Lift Operations Manager

The Heavy Lift Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate all heavy lift operations for a major industrial project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise heavy lift activities across multiple projects
  • Manage heavy lift inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key outcomes
  • Develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses
  • Supervise mechanical, structural, and project works
  • Provide training and Verification of Competency for heavy lift teams
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for equipment maintenance
  • Audit lifting gear condition, storage, and spares
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and standards
  • Identify and resolve issues in lift processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Advanced Certification in Heavy Lifting
  • Certificate III in Frontline Supervision
  • Experience in structural and mechanical projects with heavy lift expertise
  • Strong understanding of drawings and complex scenarios
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support lift teams
