The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia, serving over 400,000 people with a comprehensive range of medical services.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute mental health setting
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient safety and promoting recovery
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. In order to administer medicines, you must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
