Role Overview: As an Enrolled Nurse in the Older Persons Mental Health Service at Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nursing Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an acute mental health setting, ensuring patient safety and promoting recovery.
  • Care Planning: Actively participate in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Patient Support: Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Medication Management: Monitor patients' responses to treatment and maintain accurate patient records for effective communication within the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Registration: Be registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Practicing Certificate: Hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Vaccination: Comply with the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening, and vaccination policy in the workplace.
