Operations Manager for Biomedical Research Facilities

The Research Infrastructure Manager position oversees the day-to-day operations of high-quality biomedical research facilities, scientific and other support services. This senior leadership role is responsible for leading the Medicine & Health Research Infrastructure and Operational Services (MEDRIOS) Team within the Faculty of Medicine & Health at a major Australian university.
- This role requires a relevant qualification with extensive relevant experience in providing high-quality operations or operational support within a research setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement efficient and effective delivery of day-to-day operations of high-quality biomedical research facilities.
- Lead the MEDRIOS Team to create a positive workplace culture and deliver quality outcomes in a complex environment.
- Work closely with Heads of Schools, Centres, Institutes, and Business Partners from various divisions.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification with extensive relevant experience in providing high-quality operations or operational support within a research setting.
- Proven track record in people leadership, development, engagement, and management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Sound influencing and consultation skills.
Working Conditions:
