Aptella is seeking a skilled Technical Support Service Technician to join their team in Silverwater, NSW. As a key member of the support services team, you will provide exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring seamless operation of our automation solutions.

This is a dynamic role that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth, leveraging your current skills while benefiting from our comprehensive development programs. Ideally, you should have a background in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline, with a strong interest in technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transitioning between office and field environments to provide technical support for our customers.
  • Managing support cases within our case management systems.
  • Field support for Surveying/Geospatial products and Machine Control products.
  • Delivering customer development and training in the field or within our dedicated training facilities.
  • Assisting sales teams with product demonstrations and technical advice to ensure customers have the right solutions.
  • Providing Surveying/Geospatial & Civil product handovers to our customers.
  • Supporting internal Services Teams.
  • Assisting Pre-Delivery Teams in setting up hire equipment.
  • Assisting service schedulers with field service requirements.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive outgoing personality.
  • Goal-oriented, outcome-focused, performance-driven.
  • Sound computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • A high degree of professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
