Highly Skilled Sterilisation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterilisation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking general and specialised duties in disinfection and sterilisation of instruments from theatres and other clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities- Thermal disinfection, functionality checks/inspection, packaging and sterilisation of all instrumentation for the theatres and other clinical areas.
- Ensure compliance with AS 5369:2023 standards, infection control policy, GENCA guidelines and other statutory requirements.
- Operate, monitor, interpret and document all equipment reprocessing requirements.
- Report and document all quality activities.
- Ensure prioritisation of instrumentation and processes.
- Maintain the sterile services department area and equipment in accordance with standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.
