We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Executive to join our Regional and Agribusiness Banking division at the Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert risk management advice and services to our clients across Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management frameworks to ensure the Group's risk appetite is met.
- Provide credit risk advice and decisioning for agribusiness and commercial clients, exercising sound commercial judgment and operating within delegated authority.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure effective risk management and credit origination processes.
- Analyse industry trends and recommend changes to credit structuring to manage risk outcomes.
- Work efficiently to optimise credit decisioning processes and turnaround times.
- Contribute to a strong performance culture within Risk Management and with Business peers.
- Experience in a credit risk position, including exercising a personal delegation in a major financial institution.
- High level diversified industry knowledge and experience in Agribusiness and Commercial risk management.
- Nurtured and maintained key internal stakeholder relationships, and client relationship management experience.
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly to new situations.
- Ability to provide sound, consistent credit risk decisions.
- Ongoing awareness of ESG issues and the impact on credit risk.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Finsia, PRMIA or GARP) or studying towards completion.
