About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Risk Manager to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist risk services and advice to our Business Banking clients in regional Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will provide all aspects of credit services including advisory, credit decisioning, and recommendation of agriculture and commercial applications beyond delegated authority.
  • Other key responsibilities include credit monitoring and overview, interpretation of policy, operational risk, training, guidance for both the Risk teams and BB Managers and Bankers, and furtherance of Risk Management's broader strategic risk initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [500-600K] salary based on your skills and experience, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.
  • High level diversified industry knowledge and experience in Agribusiness and Commercial risk management.
  • Nurtured and maintained key internal stakeholder relationships, and client relationship management experience.
  • Experience in contributing to high performing teams and ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Sound influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly to new situations.
  • Graduate or post graduate degrees in business or finance or Graduate of the Risk Business School.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Finsia, PRMIA or GARP) or studying towards completion.
