As a Regional and Agribusiness Risk Specialist with the Commonwealth Bank, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our Business Banking division. Located in Australia, this position offers a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for providing specialist risk services and advice to our Business Banking team. Your primary focus will be on credit decisioning, risk management, and client relationship building. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of risk services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on credit decisions, exercising sound commercial judgment within defined parameters.
  • Delivering insightful analysis to internal clients, focusing on solutions-driven outcomes.
  • Analyzing industry trends to identify potential risks, recommending strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of client businesses, while maintaining independent risk assessment.
  • Reviewing transaction documentation in consultation with Bankers and legal counsel.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in a credit risk position, including personal delegation in a major financial institution.
  • High-level diversified industry knowledge and experience in agribusiness and commercial risk management.
  • Nurtured and maintained key internal stakeholder relationships, and client relationship management experience.
  • Sound influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly to new situations.
