Job Title: Transportation Professional

This role requires an individual with a strong track record of driving and logistics management to ensure the timely collection and distribution of goods from various locations. Key responsibilities include ensuring safe driving practices, performing pre-start checks, and maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicles.

  • Loading/unloading goods, including furniture items;
  • Performing manual labour tasks, such as lifting and carrying reasonable weights;
  • Distribution of goods to retail stores and assisting store staff where required;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive brand image;
  • Completing delivery paperwork using electronic devices;
  • Maintaining safe working conditions and adhering to WHS protocols;
  • Reporting incidents, near misses, and vehicle maintenance issues promptly;
  • Maintaining the overall appearance and condition of assigned vehicles.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess:

  • A valid MR license (essential);
  • A minimum of one year's experience operating a medium rigid vehicle (or equivalent);
  • Relevant license to operate a counterbalance forklift (desirable);
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-drop, courier, or furniture removal services (highly regarded);
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer-facing environment (highly regarded);
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to interact with diverse individuals;
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
